What we collect
Nothing that identifies you personally, unless you give it to us deliberately by subscribing to the newsletter or sending us an email. There are no accounts on this site and no login of any kind.
Analytics
We intend to use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which guides are read — page views and referrers, not individual behaviour profiles. No provider is configured in this build. When one is, it will be named here.
The newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter and nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share subscriber lists. Unsubscribing works on the first click and removes you rather than pausing you.
Affiliate links
When you follow a link to a retailer, that retailer may set its own cookies and will know you arrived from here. What they do with that is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We do not receive information about who you are or what else you bought.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it, and we will. Depending on where you live you may have specific statutory rights beyond that; this section needs completing with the correct legal detail for the jurisdictions the site serves before launch.
